2021 Season Update

As we all know, the 2020 season did not materialize. However, the Club executive are optimistic that better times are ahead and we are hoping to begin the 2021 season by July 1st, when it is safe to do so. Online 2021 season membership registration is now operational.

In the mean time, as Spring weather conditions arrive, we are encouraging all past and prospective new members to prepare for the upcoming season. We believe that bike shops are experiencing issues with parts supply delays. So, arrange to have your bike tuned up and ready to go as soon as possible! In addition, riders will need to get their fitness up to par, so get those solo rides going as soon as you can!

Silver Spokes is offering a NEW RIDE!

Starting this Friday morning (August 2nd), there will be a weekly casual ride leaving from the German Hall at 9:00.

The Pace will vary between 25-28 km/h for a distance of approximately 50 km.

Yvette will send out the route the night before.

If the ride will be cancelled due to inclement weather, an e-mail will be sent out by 8:00 Friday morning.

This ride is not officially on our Club Schedule as of yet, so until it’s approved by the OCA it will not be an Club Sanctioned Ride.
Huge Thank You to Yvette Mahieu for Organizing and Leading this ride!
