The Silver Spokes Cycling Club and Ontario Cycling Association has chosen Sunday, May 20th
as Women’s Day – and is offering a ladies-only ride. All riders are exempt from membership or OCA fees this day, so it’s a great chance to see what group cycling is all about. You can get more ride and contact information here: Ladies Day Ride.
CCN has created a registration link – which leads to more information/ details as well as a waiver for riders to sign. Club members do NOT have to register for this event – but encourage any potential riders to follow this link: Women’s Day Registration
This will be a social ride, with a distance of 35 – 40km. Ramblin’ Road has agreed to open early for the event and will have washrooms available before the ride. We also encourage riders to stay afterwards and have lunch or a drink – and answer any questions they may have. Start time is 10 a.m.
Connect with me if you have any questions. Happy riding!
The 2018 Weekly and Special Ride Schedules are now available here or on the Ride page. Please note that there may be more rides added later. Check back occasionally. There will be a Wednesday Recreational ride. New members should read Riding in a Group.
